We had a homeowner reach out to us recently with concerns surrounding his basement. He had lived in his home for four years, and just recently had began to notice that water was leaking into his home. Since he had noticed this issue initially, he kept track and was starting to see that as time went one, more water was continuously leaking into the basement. He was looking to finish his basement, and with a commitment like that, time-wise and financially, he wanted to ensure that his basement was no longer going to leak water before beginning this project. So, he got into contact with our customer care team who was able to schedule him for an appointment with one of our system design specialists for a free inspection and estimate, to diagnose the problem. Once the system design specialist was at the home it was clear that the water was leaking in from the front of the home, so the specialist came up with a plan, and they were able to move forward. The project was then scheduled with one of our production crews, and they got to work in alleviating the worry of this homeowner. In this home, the crew installed the CleanSpace wall system, which is a durable liner that works as a barrier between the water and the basement of the home. WaterGuard and the SuperSump sump pump were installed, which work alongside the CleanSpace, to get the water out and away from the home. Once the water has drained behind the CleanSpace, it drains to the WaterGuard which is installed underneath the original concrete of the basement, and into the SuperSump sump pump. The SuperSump is what is allowing this basement to stay dry, because it collects all of the water that has leaked into the home, and pumps it out and away from the home. Once all was installed, peace of mind was returned to the customer, because they knew that they would now have the freedom to finish off their basement, and all of the work would not be ruined by water leaking in. We were so happy that we could alleviate all worries for this customer.
