This customer was dealing with an unstable foundation, which was causing the lintel of their home to sag, which you can see in the before picture. This can cause many different issues for the home, so we knew that we wanted to be able to help her out. The solution for this customer was the LintelLift which is a system that helps to add permanent support underneath the lintel of the garage door. It is a curved steel beam that is secured to the sides of the garage opening. As the steel beam is flattened out, it lifts the lintel back to the original position and permanently stabilizes it to prevent from sagging. This customer was left thrilled with the results, and her peace of mind was returned when it came to the structural integrity of the home.

This homeowner was having concerns with the crawl space of his home. He was noticing that water was infiltrating the crawl space, which was causing mold to grow in the space. This imposes major health concerns for anyone living in this home, and it can also lead to further damage being done. Once the moisture and humidity gets high enough to grow mold, it can in turn cause wood rot. Which can lead to structural foundation issues, causing deterioration of the home over time. Understanding the severity of the problem, he reached out to us here at Atlanta Basement Systems, and was able to schedule an appointment with our customer care team to get a free inspection and estimate from one of our system design specialists. When it was time for the appointment, the system design specialist began inspecting the home, and was able to figure out how the water was leaking in, and what we could do as a company to reverse this problem for the homeowner. To reverse these issues for the homeowner we began with soda blasting, which is mold remediation and it rids the crawl space of the mold prior to installation. The production crew then installed the drainage matting and CleanSpace liner. This provides the water that is leaking in a way to drain, without causing any damage to the crawlspace, or allowing moisture and humidity to build up. From there the EZ-flow drainage system was installed, giving the water a place to drain into the SmartSump sump pump that was installed. The SmartSump is a sump pump that is installed, equipped with the WaterWatch alarm system. The WaterWatch is a system that alerts the homeowner if the water ever reaches a level at which the sump pump should have drained it. To keep this crawl space dry, and the humidity levels down, a SaniDry Sedona was also installed, which is a dehumidifier keeping those humidity levels down, and the air in the home healthy. This helps to give the homeowner the peace of mind in knowing that the air circulating through his home is safe, and he also now knows that he will never deal with a wet crawl space causing issues again. We were pleased to know that we could alleviate this homeowner of his worries.
