This home was on the market, but there were a few things that needed to be done before it could be sold. So, a member of our Real Estate Response Team went out to the house to perform a free inspection and determine what needed to be done. In order to fix the issue, we stabilized the bowing wall by using the CarbonArmor system. This system uses fiber-reinforced polymers that are 10 times stronger than steel to stabilize the wall. Now the house is ready to be sold!
A real estate agent reached out to our Real Estate Response Team because this house was on the market, but it had some issues that needed to be addressed before closing. The biggest issue was the sagging floors in the living room. Upon inspection, Albert discovered that moisture had been affecting the wooden supports in the foundation, causing them to weaken and sag. In order to repair this, we installed SmartJacks to stabilize the floor and raise it back to the original height. Then to prevent further damage to the remaining wood in the crawl space, we used CleanSpace to create a protective vapor barrier.
