The owners of this home had been living here for over 9 years but in the past few months they had noticed some smells coming from their crawl space, along with the presences of rodents and critters. The odor was coming from moisture and mold getting into the crawl space, and the critters were able to sneak in because the crawl space wasn't thoroughly sealed. To encapsulate the crawl space, we sealed off all the vents and added an airtight EverLast door. To waterproof, CleanSpace was installed to create a vapor barrier and then a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also installed to control the relative humidity. Now the home is free from rodents and smells!
This home was going through some serious renovations to update and modernize it. One of the things they owners wanted to get done was to stabilize the floors. There were a couple areas that were sinking and sagging. To fix this, we installed multiple SmartJacks in the areas that need more support and lift. Because the SmartJacks can be adjusted, overtime they can be slowly raised to lift the floor and prevent any further sinking.
This home was recently purchased when Lara noticed that the floors were dipping and there was a stinky odor. After checking out the crawl space, it was discovered that water was getting in, growing mold, and damaging the foundation. Lara wanted to get the crawl space encapsulated and then stabilized to prevent any further damage. To do this, Titus and his crew did mold remediation with soda blasting and then they were able to encapsulate the space with CleanSpace. They also added an EZ-Flow drain with a SuperSump Plus to remove any water immediately. To stabilize the floors, they installed multiple SmartJacks. To finish it off, they installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to control relative humidity and filter mold and allergens out of the air.
