This customer has lived in this home for 50 plus years, and over the past few years they have dealt with issues in the crawlspace of their home. They scheduled an appointment with us, and we were able to get the information needed from them to know how to move forward with resolving the issues. They had noticed a damp and moldy smell lingering in the upstairs of their home, and this is one of the big signs of leaking in a crawlspace. They had also noticed soft and uneven spots in the living room of their home. We sent a crew out and they were able to install different equipment that will work together to resolve all of the issues this customer was having. The crew installed a full waterproofing system, SmartJacks and supplemental beams. The waterproofing system included CleanSpace, a CleanSpace vent seal, the SaniDry Sedona and a condensate pump. All of those parts work together to fully waterproof the crawl space, and prevent any future water damage. The CleanSpace is a durable liner that seals the space from the Earth and allows the water to seep under the liner, ensuring the integrity of the home and foundation is protected. The CleanSpace vent seal works alongside this, and shuts off all of the vents to the outside air as well, ensuring that no moisture from the air is entering the home. The SaniDry Sedona is our highly-efficient dehumidifier that keeps the air in the crawl space dry, and can hold up to 100 pints of water a day. The crew also installed SmartJacks and supplemental beams that helped to fix the soft softs and un-level areas in the upstairs of the home. The SmartJacks and beams are made of steel and they are assembled and tightened in place, this helps to immediately stabilize the foundation. With all of these working parts installed, this customer was left with a stable foundation and a waterproofed crawl space, ensuring the peace of mind that he will not be dealing with mold, or foundation issues in the future.
