Cracked and un-level concrete can lead to many different issues, like water infiltration and wash-out, which messes with the structural integrity of the concrete. He gave us a call here at Atlanta Basement Systems and we were able to get a crew out there to help fix these issues. George and his crew installed PolyLevel and NexusPro crack repair. PolyLevel is a high-density foam made of structural polymers, that expands and lifts the concrete to the desired height. The NexusPro crack repair is a silicone-based sealant, that is water-proof and will not deteriorate during the natural contraction and expansion of the concrete. This customer was left happy with the results, and no longer had a bumpy ride up his driveway.

This customer had just moved into this new home, and was having concerns about soft spots and un-level areas of the floor throughout the home. He was also concerned about mold and moisture in the crawl space, so he gave us a call and wanted to get an inspection scheduled, so he knew what would need to be done to resolve these concerns for him. A sales rep was sent out to his home, and they were able to come to a proposal about what kind of work was going to be done. One of our production crews was sent out to his home, and they began the job. In this house they installed 3 SmartJacks, the CleanSpace vent seals, SilverGlo and the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The SmartJacks are steel beams that are going to help fix the foundation issues that were causing the soft and un-level spots in the floor. These are installed into holes in the ground that have been dug to stable soil. Once they are all installed, they are connected and tightened in place, stabilizing and leveling the foundation of the home. The CleanSpace vent seals ensure that no moisture or humidity from the outside can enter the crawl space. The SilverGlo is a foam board insulation that resists heat conduction. Lastly, they installed the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier which will keep the crawl space dry ALL of the time. It can hold up to 100 pints of water daily and once it is set to the correct relative humidity range it never has to be messed with again. This means that it is out of sight, out of mind for the homeowner. This customer was left with the peace of mind that his new home was stable and the crawl space was going to stay dry. Mold and moisture will never be an issue of concern for him again.
