This customer called us here at Atlanta Basement Systems, because they were planning on getting there floors redone in their home, but they were dealing with foundation issues. They did not want to spend all the time and money getting their floors done, if they did have the peace of mind that the foundation of their home was going to hold up. We sent a crew out to fix these foundational issues for this customer once and for all, and they installed SmartJacks. SmartJacks are steel beams that are installed in the ground to the depth of competent soil. They are then all connected and tightened into place, immediately stabilizing and leveling the foundation of the home. This ensured to this customer that the foundation of his home was going to hold up, and he would be able to get the floors of his home redone without having to worry about anything.

The Helical Piers have Helical plates that are welded on to the pier shaft, and help the pier when being screwed into the soil. These plates help to transfer the weight of the home onto the competent soil beneath the ground. These Helical Piers helped to restore the foundation back to the original level, and this customer had the peace of mind of knowing that his home was not going to fall down anytime soon.

These are not anything that a homeowner wants to experience, so he gave us a call here at Atlanta Basement Systems, and we sent a sales representative out right away for a free inspection and estimate. After the inspection it was found that this customer was going to need our basement waterproofing services. A crew was sent out to this home, and they were able to get the job complete. We installed, CleanSpace wall system, WaterGuard, the TripleSafe sump pump, and the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The CleanSpace wall system, WaterGuard and TripleSafe sump pump all work together to ensure that this basement will stay dry. The CleanSpace wall system is an interior waterproofing system that catches all the water behind the liner, and it drains down into the WaterGuard. The WaterGuard catches the water and it is drained from there to the TripleSafe. The TripleSafe sump pump has three pump CleanPump stands, and it pumps the water out and away from the home. The TripleSafe is also equipped with back-up battery so that it will not stop working in light of a power outage, and it has the WaterWatch alarm system, which will alert the homeowner if the water ever reaches a level in the basement at which the sump pump should have drained the water out. Lastly, the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier will work to keep the basement dry all of the time. It is set to the proper relative humidity percentage and never has to be touched again by the homeowner. It can hold up to 100 pints of water daily, and ensures there is no moisture in the air.
