This customer was having problems with the concrete around his home. He was noticing cracks and areas where it was unlevel. This can cause issues for the homeowner because the concrete surrounding a home is helping to stabilize the foundation of the home, and if the concrete takes too much damage it can begin to decrease the structural integrity of the foundation of the home. Concrete will crack naturally during contraction and expansion as the seasons change. However, here at Atlanta Basement Systems the NexusPro Crack Repair that we use ensures that this will not happen. For this customer we also used PolyLevel, which is a structural grade foam made up of polymers and it helps to lift and level the concrete to the desired height. It is installed into small holes that are drilled into the concrete. The NexusPro is a silicone based sealant that will not ruin during the natural contraction and expansion of the concrete. This customer was left pleased with the results, and will not have to worry about the structural integrity again.

The walls leak a couple of inches of water at a time into the basement every time it rains. He is going to be renting this house out, and does not want this to become an issue for his self, or future tenants that will reside in the home. He gave us a call here at Atlanta Basement Systems and we were able to get these issues fixed for him. In this basement we installed the CleanSpace wall system, WaterGuard and the SuperSump Plus sump pump. These pieces all work together in waterproofing the basement. The water drains behind the CleanSpace that has been installed to the walls, and it runs to the WaterGuard. The WaterGuard sits under a thin layer of concrete and it sends the water to the SuperSump Plus. The sump pump then drains the water out and away from the home, far enough to ensure there will be no runoff back into the home. With all of this installed the customer was pleased with the results and has peace of mind in knowing that water in the basement will never be an issue for any of his future tenants or the home.
