This customers home had a rear covered patio that was sitting 2-3 inches lower than the rest of the foundation of the home. He gave us a call here at Atlanta Basement Systems to see what we would be able to do to help him out. We were able to send out one of our crews that specialize in concrete work and they were able to fix this problem for the customer. Our crew used PolyLevel which is a foam made of structural grade polymers. It is injected into the concrete through small holes that are drilled into the concrete, and the foam then expands and lifts the concrete. It is light-weight and won't add extra weight to the concrete and it is water and wash-out proof. This customer was left pleased with the results in knowing that their porch no longer felt like a drop off.

This customer was dealing with structural foundation issues in their home. They were looking to get their foundation stabilized so they gave us a call here at Atlanta Basement Systems and we were able to get their issues resolved right away. When it comes to foundation issues this can lead to many problems for the homeowner. Structural foundation issues can cause cracks in walls, wall failure, water to leak in, and overall an unstable home. We were able to send out a crew to fix these issues for this customer and they installed SmartJacks and Push Piers. The Push Piers and placed in the home by hydraulically driving them in the ground to stable soil and the weight is then transferred from the foundation to the steel brackets and piers. This brings the home back to the original position and stabilizes it. The SmartJacks are steel beams that are placed into the ground on stable soil. Once all of the beams are placed they are connected to the support beams. The system is then tightened in place and this immediately stabilizes the foundation, leaving the floors and walls lifted back to level. With these two in place in the home, this foundation is immediately stabilized and the homeowner has the peace of mind in knowing that the foundation of his home was now forever structurally sound.
