Crawl Space Encapsulation for Real Estate

At Atlanta Basement Systems, we have a special team of System Design Specialists who work specifically with relators who are helping their client sell their homes. Because we have a designated Real Estate Response Team we are able to offer special benefits to the relators that works with us. For this home, the Relator gave us a call because his client's home had a crawl space that needed some love. During his inspection, Russell noticed that the crawl space was very damp and there was a lot of debris every where. This creates the perfect conditions for mold growth so he recommended doing an encapsulation. To encapsulate this crawl space our crews removed all the debris and then sealed up all the vents to keep outside air and moisture from getting in. Then they were able to install CleanSpace, EZ-Flow drainage, a SuperSump pump, and a drainage line with IceGuard and a LawnScape Outlet. This system will work together to ensure that any water in the crawl space is immediately pumped out. The finishing touch was adding a SaniDry Sedona to control the relative humidity in the room and also filter out any mold spores. Now this home is ready to sell and by encapsulating the crawl space the value has increased as well!
