Water was infiltrating this basement, and this was less than what was normally coming in, however this still can cause major problems, and we knew that we wanted to get this fixed for this homeowner, before it worsened further.

Moldy Crawl Space Repair

This homeowner reached out because they had a mildew smell in their home. They didn't know for sure but they suspected that they were having a moisture and humidity issue inside the crawl space. To investigate further, they gave us a call and our Appointment Center set up a free inspection appointment with Austin. During Austin's inspection, he discovered mold growth due to the high humidity and moisture. To remedy this he designed an encapsulation system custom for this crawl space. Happy with the solutions presented, the homeowner moved forward with getting the work installed. One of our crews was able to remove the mold with Soda Blasting and removed and debris. Then another crew fully encapsulated the space by sealing all the vents and then using the CleanSapce System to provide a vapor barrier. This barrier will keep moisture out of the crawl space and the material is made with anti-microbial properties so it won't ever grow mold. Additionally, a SaniDry Sedona was installed to control the humidity in the crawl space. Now this home is protected which will also keep its' family protected!
