Shae and Trey's Crawl Space Ride Along

Recently Shae, our Customer Care Coordinator, got to join one of our System Design Specialists on a crawl space inspection.  Shae is usually spends her workday inside the office, scheduling these appointments for Trey and other Design Specialists.

Here is what she had to say about her adventure:

I really enjoyed being able to go on a ride along with Trey Johnson. This was very important to me, as I was able to see firsthand what the inspectors do. My biggest reason for wanting to go was because before I started working at ABS, I had no idea that some of the work that we do even existed. I had no prior knowledge of being able to fill cracks in sidewalks/driveways via foam injection. I always thought they would need to be replaced. I knew nothing of basement waterproofing or crawl space encapsulation, so to be able to go to the inspection was very eye opening and it provided me with more information to be able to do my job that much better. It also helped a lot that Trey J. is a great salesman! I can admit that the customer we visited was not the ideal customer, but Trey was able to remain positive throughout the entire appointment! Overall, I was excited putting on the protective coveralls as it made me feel officially “official” and now I have experience on inspecting a crawl space! My goal is to do a ride along for all the different types of inspections that we provide and then move on to the production team!
