The permanent solution was to install a basement waterproofing system consisting of WaterGuard interior drainage, a SmartSump Pump System, a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier Wall System, and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. As a result, the homeowner was able to finish their basement and not have to worry about water damage in the future.

Water Damage

Water entered the basement at the wall floor joint causing water damage to the walls and other materials in the basement.

Waterproofing System

CleanSpace Vapor Barrier - mechanically fastened to the basement walls to prevent moisture from seeping through. The WaterGuard drainage system is installed around the perimeter of the basement to capture water from the walls and floor and drain it to the SmartSump Pump system to be pumped out of the home.
