Photo Album: Crawl Space Waterproofing in Jonesboro, Georgia

Jason, from Jonesboro, Georgia, had been living in his home for 10 years when he started to notice issues in his crawl space. At first it started with him smelling a musty, damp odor upstairs so he went into his crawl space and discovered mold. He reached out to multiple businesses for opinions and he decided to go with Atlanta Basement Systems because of their competitive prices and quality work.    In order to solve the mold issues in the crawl space, it is crucial to waterproof the space and create a barrier where mold cannot grow. To do this, we installed the CleanSpace encapsulation system, which is a vapor barrier made with an antimicrobial additive that prevents mold from growing. Additionally, we sealed the crawl space vents from the inside and installed an EverLast Door which creates an airtight and waterproof seal for the crawl space. The final touches for waterproofing this crawl space was adding a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier with a condensation pump to remove humidity from the air.    Since completing the work, Jason has been able to enjoy a clean, dry crawl space! He no longer has cold floors in the winter or bad odors rising into his home from the crawl space.
