Photo Album: Foundation Lift and Stabilization in Lilburn, Georgia

Debra from Lilburn, Georgia reached out for a free estimate because her floors were sagging and drooping in her kitchen and bedroom. One of our System Design Specialists went out to her home to see what was causing the problems and figure out how Atlanta Basement Systems could solve them. Upon inspection, our System Design Specialist found that there was excessive moisture in the crawl space causing mold and damaging the wood foundation. Additionally, the foundation was poorly supported, causing the sagging floors.   In order to fix up Debra's foundation, we installed 9 Smart Jacks along with supplemental beams, steel shims, and sister joists. SmartJacks solve sagging floors by stabilizing and leveling the support beams, and they can be quickly installed in small spaces. They can also be installed without over lifting the foundation, which can cause additionally damage. Additionally, the WaterGuard drainage system and a TripleSafe sump pump were installed to prevent excessive moisture and protect the foundation from mold and wood rot.    Now, Debra's home is better supported and she know longer has to worry about sinking floors throughout the house!
