Vance gave us a call because humidity and moisture in his home's crawl space was causing dampness and humidity upstairs in the home too. After Austin, a System Design Specialist, went into the crawl space to do an inspection he found high moisture and mold growth. Mold growth is fairly common in unenclosed crawl spaces because the organic materials mixed with high humidity is the perfect breeding ground for mold. After seeing how bad the crawl space was, Vance wanted to get the crawl space encapsulated and protected from moisture.   Because mold was present, Justin and Juan had to first use Soda Blasting to get rid of the mold. Once that was done, then they were able to install CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to protect the walls from moisture. Then they installed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. The Sedona automatic controls relative humidity while also filtering the air for allergens and mold spores.    Now this crawl space is protected from mold and moisture, which helps keep the rest of the home dry too!
