Photo Album: Basement and Crawl Space Waterproofing in Sharpsburg, Georgia

Robert had moved into his home in Sharpsburg, Georgia and was working on remodeling his new place. One of the things on his list was to get his basement and crawl space encapsulated and waterproofed so that he never has to worry about that in the future. After talking with Trey about what the options were, Robert opted for a complete waterproofing system.   For this system, Foreman Ken and his crew had to first remove any debris, like fallen insulation, and they sealed up the crawl space vents. Once the space was prepped, they dug out the space to install WaterGuard drainage and then covered it with a thin layer of concrete. Along with the drainage, they installed a TripleSafe sump pump to effectively remove any water from the drains and out the house. They added the drainage matting and CleanSpace Wall System to create a vapor barrier to protect the walls and air from moisture. The crawl space needed some SmartJacks to support the foundation in the areas where it had been weakened by damage from moisture. The finishing touches were adding a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and an EverLast door.    Trey did a wonderful job designing the system, and Ken and his crew did an amazing job with the installation. Robert's new home and is protected from moisture permanently.
