This customer was suffering from a wet basement. He has been dealing with this problem for a couple years, and the family has decided that they are deciding on if they are wanting to sell the home. With this being on their mind, they are wanting to fix the issues in the home so it is in good shape for the next owner. To waterproof this basement, WaterGuard, the TripleSafe sump pump and IceGuard was installed. WaterGuard is installed along the perimeter of the space, and is placed under a thin layer of concrete. The openings in the WaterGuard allow it to collect any of the water seepage, and drain it to the TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe is our top of the line sump pump, coming equipped with battery backup, WaterWatch alarm system and three CleanPump stands. This sump pump is ensured to work all of the time, during power outages in storms with heavy wind and rain. The WaterWatch alarm system alerts the homeowner if the water in the basement ever reaches a level at which the water should have been pumped out. IceGuard is a piece that we install on the pumps of the sump pump, and it is engineered to allow the water to escape if there is ever freezing in the discharge line, but it does not allow water to free flow out constantly. It will not allow water to back up into the basement during cold months, but it also will not allow water to back up at the base of the home causing issues. This customer now had the peace of mind in knowing that his basement was not going to continue to flood, and once he decided to sell the home, it was prepped for the next owner as well.
