These customers noticed a smell coming from their crawl space. This led them to check it out, and they found a list of problems. There was flooded water in the crawl space, mold was growing on the wood, and the humidity and moisture levels had gotten so high, wood had began to rot. Without service, these issues can turn into so much more for homeowners, especially in home integrity and can cause health issues if not dealt with. They gave us a call, and we were able to schedule them for a free inspection. Upon inspection, the salesman was able to give these homeowners a solution for all of their problems. The crew was sent out to begin installation. CleanSpace, WaterGuard and a SuperSump pump were installed, these work together to keep a barrier between the Earth and the home leaving no space for moisture in the crawl space. The CleanSpace provided a barrier for the water to run through, down to the WaterGuard, that then send to the water to the sump pump to be pumped out and away from the home. The Super sump pump was complete with IceGuard, which helps to prevent freezing, which prevents flooding from freezing of the water causing a clog. The crawl space was also sealed off with CleanSpace vent covers and a EverLast door, which prevents these problems from occurring. These allow no outside air that contains moisture into the crawl space. These home owners were left happy, and could rest assured they would no longer have mold growing and wood rotting in their crawl space.

Rotten Wood

This photo is depicting wood rot, which is a result of the moisture content of the wood, that is proportional to the relative humidity of the air in the crawl space. Once the wood in a crawl space starts to rot, it damages the structural integrity of the home.

This customers crawl space was leaking, causing water to pool up in the lower areas of the crawl space. This standing water is causing multiple issues, such as the wood rot, its causing mold and milder to grow, and also damages the foundation of the home.

This is a clear depiction of the issues that standing water is causing in this crawl space. Mold has started to grow on the wood, which leads to further issues. The crawl space air goes through the vents in your home, and this can be what you are breathing in.

Waterproofing in crawl space

This is the after math of the crawl space, once our crew got out there, and was able to fix all of these customers issues. CleanSpace and WaterGuard were installed, which work together. The CleanSpace creates a barrier between the home and the Earth, catching the water and sending it to the WaterGuard which then send the water to the sump pump. Also pictured is the SaniDry Sedona, which is our high-efficiency dehumidifier that keeps the crawl space dry, and the relative humidity at the correct range.

Sump Pump

This is what the sump pump looks like once it is installed in the crawl space. The CleanSpace and WaterGuard catch the water and send it to the sump pump, which had drains, that allow the water to drain out and away from the home. This ensures that there will never be standing water in the crawl space again.
