We were contacted by this customer in Conyers, GA to schedule a free foundation repair assessment because of a bowing foundation wall problem in their basement and a failing retaining wall. Having thoroughly inspected their interior and exterior foundation problems, we provided a comprehensive solution that would resolve them permanently. Hydrostatic pressure caused their retaining wall to separate from the foundation, crack, and tilt. Hydrostatic pressure is when underground water applies an inward force against your wall. It was decided to use PowerBrace Wall Repair System to stabilize and support the bowing foundation wall in the basement. Steel I-beams were custom cut to wall height and secured with heavy-duty brackets. This system is easily adjustable, allowing for tightening of the brace to raise the wall back to its original position.
