Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

This homeowner was battling water leaking into their basement and ruining everything they were storing down there. They reached out to Atlanta Basement Systems to find a way to keep the basement clean and dry. We installed Cleanspace Vapor Barrier to the foundation walls and a Triple Safe Pump System to ensure this homeowner's basement stays dry all the time!

The drywall and subfloor in this basement were damaged by water infiltration through the foundation wall. As a solution to this problem, our crew installed an interior perimeter drainage system with a TripleSafe sump pump. 

An interior drainage system, WaterGuard, was installed around the perimeter of the basement walls to collect water that seeps through the walls and drain it to the TripleSafe Sump Pump. The water is then safely removed from the home through an external discharge line. 

To prevent this homeowners basement from flooding again and to ensure it always remains dry, our basement waterproofing crew installed 193ft of WaterGuard along the interior perimeter of the basement floor and 153ft of CleanSpace Vapor Barrier on the basement walls. Any water that seeps through the foundation wall will run down the back side of the vapor barrier and into the WaterGuard Drainage System. From there, the water will be directed to the sump pump to be safely removed from the home. 

Mold began to grow in this crawl space due to high humidity. By soda blasting, we eliminated the mold.  To prevent further mold growth, we installed a dehumidifier to control humidity levels. We also sealed off the crawl space to prevent moisture from entering.
