This homeowner reached out to us after discovering that their insulation was falling in their crawl space. They also noticed musty, moldy smells upstairs in their home so they were worried about moisture in their crawl space. One of our System Design Specialists, Foster, went out to the home for a free inspection and he found mold growing in the unenclosed crawl space. After assessing the issues, Foster talked them through how Atlanta Basement Systems could fix their crawl space problems. After creating a customized plan, the homeowner scheduled a time for one our production teams to come out and fix their crawl space.
Matt and his crew were able to transform the space by doing mold remediation with soda blasting and then fully encapsulating the crawl space by sealing the vents, installing an EverLast door, and using the CleanSpace encapsulation system. To finish it off, a SaniDry Sedona was installed to keep relative humidity low and prevent mold.
Before Atlanta Basement Systems, this crawl space was not encapsulated and had open air vents. This allowed humidity and moisture to get into the crawl space and from there it was getting into the upper levels of the house too. In order to resolve this, we sealed the crawl space vents from the inside. Then we used the CleanSpace encapsulation system to create a vapor barrier, while also giving the crawl space a better appearance. Additionally, we added a SaniDry Sedona to keep humidity levels under control. Now the crawl space looks better and is protected from outside air, moisture, and humidity.
This homeowner was looking for a solution to keep their crawl space dry so they scheduled an inspection with us. After meeting with one of our System Design Specialists and discussing the options, they wanted to move forward with getting the solution installed. In order to waterproof this crawl space, we used the CleanSpace system with the drainage matting and liner. This will protect the walls and air from any moisture getting in. Additionally we put in EZ-Flow drainage along with a SuperSump pump to remove any water from the crawl space. The crawl space now looks a lot cleaner and brighter and it will stay dry all the time!
Because this home had an unenclosed, dirt crawl space moisture and humidity were getting into the home. Mold was also growing, creating an odor that was seeping into the house. In order to repair this crawl space the crew had to do mold remediation by using soda blasting. They also cleared out any debris and fallen insulation. After it was cleaned out they were able to encapsulate the crawl space by sealing the vents and using the CleanSpace encapsulation system. Additionally, they put in EZ-Flow drainage and a SuperSump to pump any water out immediately. The final touch was adding a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to control relative humidity. Now the crawl space looks better and the home is safer!
This homeowner reached out to us because he was putting his house on the market and wanted to get a few things fixed first. Russell Bush, a part of our Real Estate Response Team, went out to the home and preformed a free inspection to see how we could help. He noticed that the crawl space wasn't properly encapsulated and very humid. Russell's recommendation was to use the CleanSpace system to encapsulate the crawl space and then install a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. Happy with this solution, the homeowner had us perform the work. Now the crawl space will stay clean and dry for the next homeowner!
