Due to excessive moisture getting into this home's basement, the ceiling and upstairs floor was beginning to sag. To fix this issue, Atlanta Basement Systems installed a SmartJack support system along with a supplemental beam. The SmartJacks are adjustable steel piers that raise sagging floors back to their original height. They provide permanent support and can be adjusted over time if necessary. Additionally, a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed to remove moisture from the air and prevent future issues. Now the floor is better supported and no longer sagging!

This customer noticed that his garage floor was cracking. He scheduled a free appointment, and this appointment helped to confirm the issues he was having in his home. Our crew was sent out, and they were able to fix all the concerns he had. They used NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant and this sealed all the cracks that he had in his garage floor. This solution ensures that this customer will never have to deal with these cracks again, because they will not break down during the natural expansion and contraction of the home. He was also able to use his garage shortly after, because this is a fast-curing method. This customer was very satisfied with his results.

The sales rep was able to determine that this customer was going to need helical piers and NexusPro crack repair. The helical piers are screwed into the ground to the appropriate depth, and the weight of the home is transferred from the piers onto the competent soil. The NexusPro crack repair is a silicone-based sealent, and it helps to prevent water infiltration, and it will not deteriorate during the natural contraction and expansion of the concrete during season change. Once the crew installed the piers and laid the NexusPro, this customer was left satisfied with the results, and had the peace of mind that the structural integrity of his home was no longer compromised.

He was also noticing cracks on the outside of the home, the pre-existing ones were getting longer and new cracks had developed. The drywall in the garage was also developing cracks, so he knew this is something that he wanted to get fixed. Once the sales representative completed their inspection, they knew the best option to fix his problem was going to be the lintel lift. For the lintel lift they go through and install a curved steel beam on the sides and into the concrete at the base of the garage. Then, the steel beam is straightened out, and this is what lifts the garage up. The beam is then covered with a decorative piece to hide the steel underneath. They also filled in all of the cracks on the outside of the home, to keep up with aesthetics. This customer was left thoroughly happy with the results of this job.
