Photo Album: Crawl Space Waterproofing in Dahlonega, Georgia

After Austin, one of our System Design Specialist, performed a free inspection, he found mold and moisture in this home's crawl space. The homeowner also had noticed mold growing inside their home as well. Knowing how dangerous and annoying mold can be, the homeowner wanted to fix the cause directly. This home had a crawl space that was ventilated by outside air, allowing moisture, allergens, and mold to enter the crawl space. It also was not enclosed, so the high moisture levels along with organic materials were the perfect conditions for mold growth.   In order to protect this home, Isaiah and his crew had to first remove the debris from the crawl space, and then do soda blasting to remove the mold. After that, they carefully sealed up the crawl space vents and encapsulated it with the CleanSpace system. Additionally, they added a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep relative humidity at the appropriate levels.   Now this home is protected from the outside elements!
