Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

Recently, a homeowner in Stephens called in with concerns of a damp and humid crawlspace. This causes concerns for the integrity and safety of the home, so as a company we knew that we wanted to get these concerns ironed out for this homeowner. To rid the concern, Josh and his crew installed CleanSpace, the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and an EverLast Door in the crawlspace. All of these pieces combined ensure that this crawlspace will stay dry, and will not cause any further issues for the homeowner. The homeowner was pleased and we were glad to restore that peace of mind.

CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed throughout the crawl space to solve this moisture problem and prevent future moisture intrusions. 

Patricia G. reached out to Atlanta Basement Systems after noticing sagging floors and a strange odor in her house. After receiving a free inspection, Patricia learned that her crawl space was not properly stabilizing her floors and poor drainage was allowing water to seep in and grow mold. Upon finding this out, Patricia wanted to permanently stabilize her flooring system and also get rid of the extra moisture and mold.

Because floor stabilization was Patricia's biggest goal, Atlanta Basement Systems installed the SmartJack support system to stabilize the floor joists. Additional supplemental beam were also installed, to further support her foundation. Additionally, the crawl space was treated for mold and then encapsulated so that mold would not grow again. The owner of this home was getting ready to put the house up for sale, but he wanted to get it in the best condition to sell. Dave Coughlin, a member of our Real Estate Response Team, went out to the house to see what could be done in order to improve the house. Dave noticed that the basement and crawl space were very moist, and the crawl space was not encapsulated and very dirty. Dave solution included encapsulating the crawl space with the CleanSpace wall system to create a mold resistant moisture barrier. Along with also sealing the crawl space vents to fully encapsulate the space. To waterproof the basement the WaterGuard drainage system was installed, along with a SuperSump and CleanSpace on the basement walls. This home is now ready to go on the market!
