Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Decatur, Georgia

After an inspection with one of our System Design Specialists, this homeowner wanted to encapsulate their crawl space to protect their home. For this job, Ken and his crew sealed all the open crawl space vents. Then they fully encapsulated the space by using the CleanSpace system with the matting and liner. The crew carefully wrapped the bottom of the piers in CleanSpace as well. To finish it off, they installed a SaniDry Sedona to lower humidity, along with a condensation pump to empty the Sedona.

CleanSpace Liner

The liner is a durable liner, similar to the same lining used in swimming pools. It has antimicrobial additives which prevent the growth of mold too.

Encapsulated Crawl Space

By sealing off the vents and putting in the liner, outside air and moisture can no longer enter the crawl space. This reduces the growth of mold, keeps the crawl space dry, and protects the home.
