Photo Album: Sagging Floor Solution

Mr. John reached out to us because he had concerns about his floor and the structural integrity of his foundation. The floors had been sagging for the last several years and they were starting to get worse. He didn't feel comfortable with them any more and he wanted a solution. When Robbie did the home inspection, he noticed that the crawl space was the root of the problems. Moisture in the crawl space had caused damage to the foundation, causing it to weaken and sink. Mold had started growing in the crawl space due to the moisture, so we had to do soda blasting first to remove the mold. Then we could install the CleanSpace to prevent further moisture issues. To fix the foundation, we installed Helical Piers and SmartJacks to support and stabilize the foundation. Also, where part of the floor had sunk, we used PolyLevel to raise it back up. Mr. John feels a lot safer in his home now!
