Inspection
During the inspection that the system design specialist conducted, this is what he found. Obviously standing water is not something that you want to find in a basement, especially because it can lead to so many different issues. This was a clear sign that this basement needed to be waterproofed.

Prep Work
I know this may look messy now, but wait until you see the picture once all is installed. The WaterGuard and the TripleSafe sump pump, are installed under the ground, which means that the original concrete has to be dug up. But don't worry, we cover it with new concrete and keep the space looking appealing.

CleanSpace and WaterGuard
CleanSpace is the white liner that is placed on the walls, and it allows the water to drain behind it, while acting as a barrier between the moisture and the basement. It allows the water to be drained out while keeping the basement dry. The water that drains behind the CleanSpace, drains down into the WaterGuard. The WaterGuard is underneath the original concrete of the basement, and is then covered up with a thin layer of concrete to hide it.

TripleSafe Sump Pump
The TripleSafe sump pump is the top-of-the-line sump pump, ensuring that this basement will stay dry all of the time. The TripleSafe comes equipped with battery backup and the WaterWatch alarm system. This way if there is ever a power outage, not only will the TripleSafe stay running due to its batter backup, but incase there is a reason that it ceases to work, the WaterWatch alarm system will alert the homeowner if the water reaches a level at which the sump pump should have drained it.
