WaterGuard
WaterGuard is installed under the flooring of the space it is being installed. It is how the water is drained to the sump pump. It is placed under the flooring and then covered with gravel, to act as a filter so the WaterGuard does not get clogged with sediment, and then covered with a thin layer of concrete.
CleanSpace
When we waterproof a basement we do it on the interior, so half of the wall is removed and the CleanSpace wall system is installed to the wall. It is a white liner and is a barrier between the moisture and the home. The water drains behind the CleanSpace and into the WaterGuard.
SuperSump sump pump
The SuperSump is the sump pump that was installed in this home. The sump pump is what extracts the water out and away from the home. The SuperSump for this home came equipped with the WaterWatch alarm system, which alerts the homeowner if the water ever reaches a level at which it should have been drained.This gets installed for all real estate jobs so that the new buyer has peace of mind.
