Deep Crack
This is an example of one of the deep cracks this pool deck was facing, not only is this not appealing for an area of the home, such as the pool deck where this family will be spending a lot of time during the summer, but it is also unsafe, can cause tripping and further damage as water infiltrates the crack.
Unlevel Pool Deck
The concrete surrounding the pool deck has begun to sink, and this is where PolyLevel comes in. This family wanted the pool deck to have a flush finish with the edge of the pool, and we were able to give them just that.
Lifting with PolyLevel
This photo was taken after the PolyLevel had been injected into the concrete. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam, that is injected into the concrete in pencil sized holes, and it expands, lifting the concrete to the desired height. It allowed this pool deck to have a new finish, and be in line with the pool, leaving it safer for this family.
NexusPro
NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant. It was installed into all of the cracks on the pool deck. Not only does it give the area a more appealing look, but it takes away the danger of further damage. NexusPro is water and wash out proof, and it will also not deteriorate during the natural contraction and expansion of the concrete during the change of seasons.
