 This customer had noticed that he had soft spots and un-level areas in the floors of his home. He had not noticed a moldy or moist smell in his home or had any rotting wood, but he was still dealing with structural foundation issues in the crawl space of his home, so this was something that we knew we needed to help this customer with. He called, and we were able to send a sales rep to his home for an appointment, and this sales rep was able to decide that he needed SmartJacks and supplemental beams to restabilize the foundation of his home. The sales rep also was able to determine that the relative humidity level in his crawl space was higher that should be, which means that he was going to begin to run into issues with moisture in the crawl space. Because of this, they also wanted to install the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, SilverGlo and a condensate pump. The SmartJacks that were installed are steel beams that are placed in holes that are dug or drilled into the crawl space, that are then filled with concrete for extra stability. Once all of the steel poles are in the ground, all of the steel beams are connected and then tightened in place, and this immediately stabilizes the floors and lifts them back to level. Due to the relative humidity being so high, they installed the SilverGlo and the condensate pump. The SilverGlo is a high-efficient foam board insulation that has a built in heat radiant barrier surface. It also provides a vapor barrier keeping the moisture out of the crawl space. The condensate pump is used to remove condensation from the area. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier is our highly-efficient dehumidifier that keeps the air in the space dry and keeps the relative humidity down in all seasons. With all of these pieces installed this customer will never have to worry about moisture in his crawl space or un-level floors in his home again.
